Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions of TRIMINT GmbH (BIKABUKA)

§ 1 Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed by consumers and businesses through the online shop of TRIMINT GmbH, Fahrbachweg 3, 69126 Heidelberg, Germany (the "Seller").

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession. A business is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity that acts in the exercise of its trade, business or profession when concluding a legal transaction.

§ 2 Conclusion of contract

The presentation of products in the online shop is an invitation to order, not a legally binding offer. By clicking the order button you place a binding order for the items in your cart. The Seller confirms receipt of your order by email; this confirmation does not yet constitute acceptance. The contract is concluded once the Seller declares acceptance or ships the goods.

§ 3 Ordering process and correction of input errors

An order is placed in the following steps: selecting the goods, adding them to the cart, entering delivery and billing details, choosing the shipping and payment method, reviewing an order summary and finally submitting the order via the order button.

Before you submit your binding order, all details are shown together in an order summary. You can correct input errors there at any time using the usual keyboard and mouse functions as well as your browser's back function; quantities and the contents of your cart can be changed until the order is submitted, and you can cancel the ordering process at any time by closing the browser window.

§ 4 Contract language and storage

Contracts may be concluded in German or English. The contract text is stored by the Seller and sent to you in text form together with these terms.

§ 5 Prices and payment

All prices stated are final prices including statutory VAT. Any shipping costs are shown separately during the ordering process.

The payment methods available are shown during checkout. Payment is due upon conclusion of the contract.

§ 6 Delivery, delivery area and retention of title

Delivery is made to the address provided by the customer. Delivery times and shipping costs are listed on the "Shipping and Payment" page.

We deliver within Germany and to the countries selectable during checkout. For deliveries outside the European Union, additional customs duties, taxes and fees may apply and are to be borne by the customer.

The goods remain the property of the Seller until payment has been received in full.

§ 7 Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details can be found in our withdrawal policy.

§ 8 Warranty

Statutory warranty rights apply. Handcrafted paper objects may show slight variations in colour and texture; such material- and production-related variations do not constitute a defect.

§ 9 Liability

The Seller is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise the Seller is liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

§ 10 Dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

§ 11 Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the consumer resides remain unaffected.
